More Arsenal supporters want the Gunners to sign Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze than Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
Both Eze and Rodrygo are known to be high up the list of transfer targets as the Gunners look to reinforce their attack ahead of next season.
Gooner News asked fans to choose between the two players, and we had over 2,200 respondents to the poll.
Nearly 45% want Eze to be brought in, with only 25% favouring Rodrygo, which is a result that may surprise some people.
When you press “view results”, you will see that we also included the option for ‘both’, with 30% of supporters picking that option.
It is believed that Arsenal have made enquiries to confirm the details of the England international’s release clause.
Previous reports have stated that Eze can be signed for an initial £60m, with another £8m being due in performance-related add-ons.
There is some debate over whether Mikel Arteta’s side will have the funds to buy the likes of Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, Rodrygo and Eze in the same summer so a decision may need to be made as to who will be prioritised.
The Gunners are expected to wait until after Real have finished playing in the Club World Cup before tabling an offer. After being named on the substitutes bench for the last four games, there is increasing speculation that the Brazilian international will ask to leave the Bernabeu.
However, Real are not expected to let him leave on the cheap, with it being suggested that clubs would need to match his €90m (£78m) asking price.
