One Liverpool full-back has now officially completed a free move to Arsenal.
The Reds were busy in the first month of the transfer window, securing six new additions before the turn of the month of July.
The first arrival was Jeremie Frimpong, who was then followed by Armin Pecsi, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and then Freddie Woodman, who will join the club in a free transfer in the coming days.
But Liverpool’s summer transfer activity hasn’t been only about additions.
A few of the club’s players have already moved this summer.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was the first to move, and he has been followed out of the exit door by the likes of Caoimhin Kelleher, Nat Phillips and Jarell Quansah.
Another player has now joined them out of the exit door, but this time, it is in the Reds’ women’s team.
The player in question is Taylor Hinds, who joins Arsenal on a free transfer.
The player was rumoured to be on his way to the Emirates, but has now completed his move.
“We’re delighted to announce the signing of Jamaica international Taylor Hinds on a permanent deal,” Arsenal announced on Monday.
The Jamaican’s journey began with Arsenal Academy at the age of 11 in 2010. She progressed through the Gunner’s academy ranks. He moved to Liverpool in July 2020 and made 131 appearances in five seasons, scoring eight goals.
She was an integral part of their Women’s Championship title win in 2021-22 and became Liverpool’s vice-captain in 2023.
“I’m so proud to have signed for Arsenal,” said Taylor.
“I want to push, compete and be winning trophies – and this club encompasses all of that both on and off the pitch. You can see what direction Arsenal is going in, and everyone at the club wants to win.
“This is a full-circle moment for me, and I’m grateful to come back to a place I called home when I was younger. I can’t wait to get started and to step out on the pitch at Emirates Stadium in front of all our incredible supporters.”
