AC Milan are considering a deal for Victor Osimhen this summer, with an elite striker sought by the new head coach, Massimiliano Allegri.
There have been a few suggestions about Milan and Osimhen in recent months, though, they have largely hinged on the situation of Rafael Leao. If the winger was to depart, then a move for the Nigerian would be made, that sort of idea.
However, a new idea is starting to form at Casa Milan it seems.
The clause
As Il Mattino, a Napoli-dedicated outlet, writes (via MilanNews), Galatasary have a concrete offer on the table to the Partenopei. €60 million with a €16m contract there for the striker. However, Aurelio De Laurentiis is not sure about the offer.
The reasoning is simple. Until Thursday, there is a clause active in Osimhen’s contract that would allow him to go for €75m. Obviously, the president is seeking this clause to be used, if he is to go; especially with them now targeting Darwin Nunez.
Also on the cards is interest from Italy, where Juventus and Milan are considering the situation facing the Neapolitan club. The €60m price is slightly out of budget, making the €75m hopes unfeasible completely.
However, if this clause expires and De Laurentiis would prefer a fresh start, there is a potential opening to take advantage of, especially with the Rossoneri moving away from Nunez.
