AC Milan are trying to offload multiple players that are not deemed a part of the plans, and interest for two has arrived from Saudi Arabia.
Milan have already completed one bit of business involving a club from the Saudi Pro League, as Theo Hernandez completed a move to Al-Hilal earlier in the week. Now, clubs from the same country could offer a solution to two more problems.
Adli and Bennacer in demand
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Ismael Bennacer and Yacine Adli’s careers could continue abroad. Clubs in Saudi Arabia are conducting inquiries about the two Milan midfielders, who have returned from their respective loan spells at Marseille and Fiorentina.
The Algerian made 12 appearances and provided two assists in Ligue 1 with Roberto De Zerbi’s team, while the Frenchman made 35 appearances for Fiorentina, scoring five goals including one against his parent club.
Both are clearly not deemed a part of the plans under Allegri. Adli was told to report for training from Monday July 14 with Milan Futuro, so he will not even get a look in preseason, while Bennacer was given extended vacation. The message has been sent: the sooner both find new clubs the better, for all involved.
