Gbs: Milan agree personal terms for 35-year-old Sportiello replacement…see more

AC Milan, this afternoon, have agreed personal terms with a new goalkeeper to replace the outbound Marco Sportiello.

In the past few weeks, there have been a few suggestions that Milan could do a deal with Atalanta, where Sportiello departs the club. Largely due to Gian Piero Gasperini and Pierluigi Gollini’s relationship, or lack thereof.

At first, it seemed that the two clubs may do a direct swap deal between the two. However, this has now changed. Instead, the Rossoneri will sign Pietro Terracciano it seems, who has been at Fiorentina since 2019.

As Fabrizio Romano reports from his X account, the 35-year-old has ‘agreed personal terms’ with the Diavolo, with a two year deal ready to be ‘sealed’. However, the deal is reliant on Sportiello moving to Bergamo. So, until that move is completed, there will be no movement for his replacement, as you would expect.

Talks are underway with La Dea regarding Sportiello’s arrival, so it should not be too difficult to finalise. Especially when considering that he has already been given the green light to leave, effectively.

The goalkeeper only made three appearances for La Viola last season, though before that he had racked up more than 100 Serie A appearances.
