There have been a few links between Igli Tare and Lazio since he became the AC Milan sporting director. Yet, none have been taken up yet.
Given how long Tare spent at Lazio, it is no surprise that there would be links between the new director and his former club. Of course, not in a way of losing talent, but bringing over important staff members.
So, this is why there were such heavy rumours about Maurizio Sarri. Though, Milan chose a different direction, whilst keeping the idea pretty similar.
Additionally, there have been links to a few former players, such as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Mario Gila. Though, the links to both have cooled a lot in the past month or so.
It seems the first direct link between the two clubs will actually have an impact on the youth ladder with the Rossoneri, though, as Martin Sartorio reports that the former Laziali captain Marco Parolo could join as a youth coach.
On his X account, he states that the former midfielder – and current DAZN pundit – is being heavily considered for the role of the Under-16 coach.
If the interest is serious, then you would imagine Tare would definitely try to convince the midfielder, who he actually signed for the Biancocelesti.
