This afternoon, a report has emerged stating that AC Milan had considered a move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Yves Bissouma.
The midfield has been an area of focus for Milan this summer so far, though the department looks to be finished now. Luka Modric and, hopefully, Ardon Jashari will fill the area, with no other reinforcements really required past them two.
Of course, until Jashari arrives, the Rossoneri will have to consider other options on the market, such as Bissouma. With the Swiss’ situation not showing much likelihood of changing quickly, there is a certainly a need to keep evaluating other profiles that could improve the midfield.
Bissouma prefers Premier League
As Sacha Tavolieri writes, the midfielder had attracted interest from the Diavolo and Juventus so far this summer, as well as being in contact with Fenerbahce. However, it seems the Malian midfielder will not leave England, at least not yet.
Instead, he would prefer to stay with Tottenham or just in England generally. For what its worth, the joruanlist states that there should be more updates, so whether that will regard Milan remains to be seen.
For now, though, the focus will be on other targets. Above all others, Jashari.
