It seems that AC Milan will change their second goalkeeper this summer, as Pietro Terracciano gets closer to a move.
There has been a lot of talk in the past few days about the goalkeeper situation at Milan, largely due to the lack of movement elsewhere. Nevertheless, it also seems like the next deal that could go through.
In fairness, it may be better to say deals, given the signing of Terracciano would only occur if Marco Sportiello left for Atalanta. Though, this is quite probable in itself, and it is only becoming the case more.
As Calciomercato.com write, the Italian is ready to join the Rossoneri, and he is ‘one step away’ from completing the deal. Personal terms have already been agreed, as was reported over the weekend, and the report states that he should sign a deal worth €800k per season, on a two year contract.
Doing so will see the 35-year-old take a €100k price hit on his current wage in Florence, though he has already given his willingness to the club.
It is possible that a medical could be booked in this week to finalise things, especially with Sportiello agreeing a contract with Atalanta.
