Christian Comotto has impressed Massimiliano Allegri in preseason training, to the extent that he will keep him as part of the senior side.
As MilanNews report, in this first part of summer preparations, Allegri has also added some young players to the first team so that he can have a look at them and assess how ready they are, and this applies to Comotto.
The 17-year-old is ‘showing excellent signs’ this pre-season, in terms of intensity in training, his attitude and of course his ability. The club strongly believe in him as he is undoubtedly one of the most interesting prospects not only in the Milan youth academy, but in all of Italian football.
Filippo Galli – the ex-Milan player and former Milan academy manager, recently spoke to Radio Rossonera about Comotto and was very bold on the talent that he has.
“A 2008-born midfielder, joining the first team. This is a chance for the boy to shine. He’s certainly one of the most promising players in the youth academy, and we’ll see if he has the necessary qualities to be part of the group and be part of a venture that we hope will take us to the real top next year.”
Back in 2023 we picked out Comotto as one of the talents in the academy to look out for, while the midfielder has admitted that he idolises Sandro Tonali, who he has been compared to.
