Pervis Estupinan is open to joining AC Milan and work is underway to try and make the deal happen with Brighton, reports claim.
Following the departure of Theo Hernandez, the Rossoneri management is still searching for a replacement for the Frenchman. In the last few hours, the name of Estupinan has been gaining traction.
Milan gaining confidence
According to MilanNews, there are some interesting new updates regarding the pursuit of the Ecuador international. A first offer was sent by the Milan directors worth around €12m, and it was considered too low for the green light.
Nonetheless, Milan’s pressure for Estupinan continues and it is helped by that fact that the player has given the green light to joining the Rossoneri. Encouraged by this, they will raise their offer to Brighton in the coming days.
Gianluca Di Marzio writes that ‘confidence is growing’ at Milan, with agent Jorge Mendes working to lower Brighton’s asking price. In the last few hours the discussions that have taken place have encouraged the Diavolo.
The left-back ‘has already expressed his desire to play for Milan’ so contacts between the two clubs continue steadily, with the gap narrowing slightly. Milan are eager to bring in a quality, reliable addition to Allegri’s squad following the departure of Theo.
