Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze responded on social media after an exit from the Eagles was officially confirmed.
Eze enjoyed a brilliant campaign last season, writing himself into Palace folklore after scoring the winning goal in their historic FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.
But that success may now come at a cost for the Eagles, with Arsenal accelerating their pursuit of the Eze this summer.
The Gunners have received a boost in their attempts of signing the forward as Football Insider revealed Eze is keen on a move to the Emirates, preferring Arsenal over interest from Tottenham and Chelsea.
While speculation surrounding his future continues to build, he showed activity on social media following the announcement of a player’s exit from the club.
While Eze’s future remains uncertain, the Crystal Palace forward was active on Instagram after the club confirmed that Ademola Ola-Adebomi has officially departed.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on Monday that Palace had accepted a bid from WSG Tirol for the striker.
Eze joined Maxence Lacroix in reacting to the announcement, both liking the club’s post on social media.
Football Insider revealed on 21 July that Palace had accepted a bid from Austrian side WSG Tirol for Ola-Adebomi. The club were open to letting the striker go this summer, with first-team opportunities looking increasingly limited despite his prolific record at youth level.
The 21-year-old netted 12 goals in just 13 appearances in Premier League 2, but with no clear pathway to the senior side, his future in South London always looked uncertain. After 13 years at the club, he is now set for a permanent move abroad.
With Ola-Adebomi departing and Eze’s future up in the air, Palace remain open to further outgoings as they look to reshape their squad.
Football Insider revealed Palace are planning to accept offers for Odsonne Edouard this summer, with the forward no longer in Oliver Glasner’s plans.
Following an underwhelming loan spell at Leicester City, Palace now want to secure a permanent sale for the former Celtic striker. With just one year left on his current deal, this summer likely represents the final opportunity for Palace to generate a transfer fee.
