According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are looking to sign a right-back, a midfielder and a striker before the end of the window. They already have the names for the first two positions: Guela Doue and Ardon Jashari.
For now, both Club Brugge and Strasbourg are holding firm and sticking to their guns on the asking prices for Jashari and Doue respectively. An important boost for Milan could come from the sale of Bennacer, who has been targeted by Al Ittihad and they are pushing hard for his approval.
The Algerian, who has taken a few days to consider his options, would sign a three-year contract worth €8-10m per season, while the Rossoneri could receive €12m euros for his sale, money that could then be used to finally land Jashari.
Despite strong resistance from Club Brugge, who also rejected Milan’s latest offer of €38m (including bonuses), the player has continued to reiterate his desire to join the Rossoneri and the management have not given up.
The remainder of the proceeds from Bennacer’s sale to Al-Ittihad could be used to increase the offer for Doué, the Rossoneri’s top right-back target. The €23m offered to date is not enough to secure the French club’s approval.
