As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) write this morning, Pulisic’s presence is uncertain for the Rossoneri’s final two pre-season friendlies against Leeds United and Chelsea, which will take place on August 9 and 10.
The American winger picked up a knock in the 4-2 victory against Liverpool in Hong Kong and was unable to play in the final test of the tour against Perth Glory for this reason, with the staff preferring not to risk him.
The paper goes on to state that his condition will be evaluated day by day as soon as the team returns to work at Milanello, which will be from Tuesday. For now, Pulisic remains doubtful for the two final friendlies across the Channel, with precaution necessary.
Pulisic would likely have hoped to play against his old side Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, the club he joined Milan from. In the meantime, Fabrizio Romano reported that the USA international is very happy being a Rossoneri player, which is certainly encouraging.
In a recent interview with the same paper, Pulisic spoke about the positive signs from preseason so far, heaping praise on Massimiliano Allegri and also his team-mate Rafael Leao.
