AC Milan will be up against Leeds United this afternoon and according to a report, the Rossoneri fans could see the new signing Ardon Jashari from start.
Milan announced Jashari’s arrival on Wednesday, following very lengthy negotiations, and he has been training with the team since. He has seemingly turned up in good condition, called up for today’s clash against Leeds United in Dublin.
It’s the Rossoneri’s penultimate friendly clash of the pre-season, also scheduled to face Chelsea tomorrow, so the players starting today will likely get their final test. Unless Max Allegri decides to field one XI per half, of course.
The predicted XIs
According to today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), Allegri will give Jashari his first minutes with the red and black shirt. The youngster Emanuele Sala, who hasn’t featured at all this pre-season, is also expected to play from start.
Up front, Santiago Gimenez will make his first appearances of the pre-season after being granted extended vacation, following the Gold Cup tournament with Mexico. It will be very interesting to see how he looks with Allegri’s tactics.
Predicted Milan XI (4-3-3): Terracciano; Magni, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Estupinan; Musah, Jashari, Sala; Chukwueze, Gimenez, Okafor.
Predicted Leeds XI (4-3-3): Melier, Schmidt, Rodon, Bijol, Gudmundsson; Ampadu, Longstaff, Stach; Gnonto, Piroe, Aaronson.
