Crystal Palace reportedly want to sign Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior as a replacement for Marc Guehi, if the England international joins Liverpool.
The Gunners are yet to make any major sales this summer, and any more deals will only likely happen if they do manage to offload a few names first. There is a list of seven Arsenal players who could be sold before the end of the transfer window, with one of them being Jakub Kiwior.
The Polish international stepped in last season when Gabriel suffered a hamstring injury. However, Arsenal have now signed Cristhian Mosquera, making Kiwior’s role reduced to more of a squad player role.
With that in mind, the Gunners could sell Kiwior, and it has now been reported that Premier League rivals Crystal Palace are eyeing a move for the 24-year-old.
Palace’s current big story is that Liverpool are working to sign defender Marc Guehi for around £35m, and if they lose Guehi, they will need to find someone to replace their captain and leader in defence.
According to GiveMeSport, Palace are lining up a move for Kiwior as their replacement for Guehi this summer. It is understood that the Arsenal defender will be available for less than £30m this summer, and the Gunners are willing to sell him – so this looks a potentially very likely deal…if Guehi leaves.
Amid the reported interest from Palace in Kiwior, the Premier League side do have rival teams looking to sign the Poland international.
According to reports in Italy included in LondonWorld, Arsenal have received a bid from AC Milan to sign Kiwior this summer, with no fee yet reported.
However, it is understood that Arsenal want between £21.5m and £25.8m for the defender; They paid around £17m for him from Serie A side Spezia in 2023.
