After suffering an injury scare in Slovenia’s friendly match on Saturday in advance of EuroBasket 2025, Luka Doncic was back on the court for the country’s penultimate friendly on Tuesday versus Great Britain. He didn’t seem to show any sign that he had narrowly avoided a serious knee injury just three days prior.
While he hit just two of his 11 3-point attempts, he ended up with 28 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, three steals and one block in an easy 93-81 win for Slovenia. Once again, as he did in his previous two appearances, he looked svelte and fit, not to mention very mobile.
Slovenia’s final tune-up game will be this Thursday against Serbia. Its first official contest of EuroBasket 2025 will take place on Thursday, Aug. 28, when it takes on Poland.
