Breaking News: Boniface in Milan today for medical examinations…see more

Yesterday afternoon, the Nigerian striker reached a definitive agreement with the Rossoneri, and today he is expected to arrive in Milan for thorough medical examinations.

The signing of his one-plus-four-year contract, for the class of 2000 forward, depends entirely on passing those tests. This caution is due to his medical history, as he has suffered several serious injuries in his career. La Gazzetta dello Sport retraced Boniface’s injury record, noting that between Bodø/Glimt and Bayer Leverkusen he missed as many as 104 matches, plus a few more last season that prevented him from making the impact he would have liked.

Before finalizing the deal, Milan want physical assurances from the Nigerian striker, who, according to the newspaper, has already stirred some skepticism among some fans before even setting foot in the city.

What remains to be seen now is when Victor Boniface will be available to Max Allegri. The ex Juventus coach, however, is prepared to wait for the striker, who, when fit, can be not only lethal but also decisive.
