The focus has been elsewhere for AC Milan this summer, so there has not been much said about Geoffrey Moncada. However, he is keeping busy.
With Igli Tare’s arrival, there has been a more general view on the management this summer. Rather than the focus lying on Moncada and Giorgio Furlani. Though we can assume that both have been involved in several decisions so far.
Of course, this is not a bad thing; working in the background is probably best for all involved, as it lessens the external pressure. So, that is exactly what is happening: Moncada is working away with little attention.
Per reports from El Chiringuito, via MilanNews, the Rossoneri’s technical director will be present for the game between Sevilla and Getafe on Monday night in La Liga.
In an interview last season, Moncada stated that he needed to watch players before deciding whether to make a move for them. So whether this could be the case here remains to be seen. But, with the report not stating any reason for the visit, anything right now is speculative.
That being said, there are a few interesting talents that could feature in the game, which is set to kick off at 21:30 CEST, so it could be one to keep an eye on, indeed.
