Chelsea vs Arsenal as both sides are looking to continue building momentum after their recent winning form. Although the two clubs are running different races this season a London derby throws context out the door and offers up an intriguing clash.
Arsenal welcome back Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli to the starting eleven whilst Thomas Partey is on the bench once again. William Saliba is fit enough to start whilst Jorginho is also in the team to face his former side.
Meanwhile, Reece James and Axel Disasi are only fit enough for the Chelsea bench. Nicolas Jackson is also unable to start and Raheem Sterling joins Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk in attack.
Aaron Ramsdale is absent from the Arsenal squad. The Gunners have confirmed this is due to the birth of he and his wife Georgina’s baby boy.
Cole Palmer handed Chelsea the lead after scoring a penalty. William Saliba the guilty party and deemed to have handballed a Mykhailo Mudryk header.
However, the drama came at the end with late goals from Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard rescuing a point. A point that Arsenal will run all the way back to north London with gladly.
