Liverpool made the ideal return following the international break with victory in the Merseyside derby against Everton. Despite the quick turnaround for yet another early kick-off, the Reds were able to overcome their rivals from across Stanley Park, and return to winning ways in the Premier League.

Klopp’s players were scattered across the globe for international games over the past two weeks, and most of them have remerged at Anfield without any major injury concerns, except for Andy Robertson, who damaged his shoulder for Scotland in the 2-0 defeat to Spain. Cody Gakpo, meanwhile, was left out of the squad for the derby as he continues his recovery after pulling up during the defeat to Tottenham.

Something that never disappears, even when the international break is in full swing, is the transfer rumor mill. Liverpool continues to be linked to players, whether realistic or not, throughout the year.

We always bring you the latest whispers from around the world concerning the Reds, with a Napoli striker and a Nice midfielder featured this time around. Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today.

Victor Osimhen is one of the most feared strikers in the world at present, but his future at the club remains uncertain ever since the club foolishly posted two TikTok videos of the striker in the aftermath of his missed penalty against Bologna in September. Since then, the Nigerian has been linked with an exit from the Serie A champions, with a whole host of teams thought to be interested in signing the 24-year-old.
