Amid the question marks over his form, El Nacional are reporting that Casemiro has regrets over his move to Man United last year.
The 31-year-old rues his decision to leave Real Madrid, where he won multiple honours, including five Champions League trophies and three La Liga titles.
The report also raises doubt about Casemiro’s long-term future at Old Trafford, with Man United believed to be targeting Benfica youngster Joao Neves.
Nevesd has made 32 senior appearances for Benfica after rising through the youth ranks at the Portuguese club.
Casemiro, meanwhile, has a long-term contract with Man United, which runs until the summer of 2026 with an option to extend by a further year.
