Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has provided an update on his recovery from injury.
The teenager enjoyed a breakthrough campaign for Jurgen Klopp’s side last term, becoming a standout star for the Reds. Bajcetic made 19 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions before seeing his campaign cut short by an adductor injury in March.
After a spell on the sidelines, the midfielder returned to full fitness at the start of the new season and made two appearances as a right-back in September. However, Bajcetic then suffered a fresh injury setback, which has seen him miss out on Liverpool’s strong start to the season.
In an interview with the club website, Bajcetic has explained the difficulties that come from watching his team-mates train out on the grass, while he works in the gym toward a full recovery.
