Bournemouth and Super Eagles-eligible striker Dominic Solanke has been named in Whoscored.com’s Premier League Team of the Month for December.
He was named alongside Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, Tottenham skipper Son Heung-Min, and eight others who were also in a rich vein of form in the month in question.
The Anglo-Nigerian forward scored 6 goals which was the most of any player in the Premier League in December, and also registered 29 shots which was the highest in the division.
His best performance was in Bournemouth’s 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest having scored a hat trick in the encounter.
Only Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander Arnold (8.04) and West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus (7.77) received a higher rating than him among the players named in December’s Best XI.
Other players listed were Solanke’s teammates Ryan Christie and Marcos Senesi, Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford, Luton centre-back Alfie Doughty, Brighton midfielder Pascal Groß, and Fulham striker Raul Jimenez.
The Super Eagles-eligible striker has 12 goals this term, which is the joint second-best in the division.
