A young Liverpool player who “runs like Steven Gerrard” might play in his first Premier League game against Bournemouth.

Liverpool take on Bournemouth this weekend, and Conor Bradley is in line to make his Premier League debut.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table. Liverpool are expected to be without a few of their key players, which is why Bradley could get the nod in the Premier League for the first time ever.

Conor Bradley started for Liverpool against Fulham in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final earlier this month, and he was brilliant.

Alan Shearer branded his performance as ‘absolutely superb‘, and he even won Liverpool’s Player of the Match award for his fantastic display.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is currently injured and isn’t expected to be back fit for the game against Bournemouth this weekend.

Liverpool Echo claim the Englishman is eyeing a return at the end of this month when the Reds take on Chelsea at Anfield.

With Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson still not fit, Joe Gomez is expected to continue at left-back, which means a Premier League debut is on the cards for Bradley.

The youngster has been on the bench in each of Liverpool’s last six league games, and the report claims he may finally get his chance this weekend.

Conor Bradley has played five times for Liverpool so far this season.

The 20-year-old came on against Arsenal recently, and he completely nullified any threat Gabriel Martinelli posed on that side of the pitch.

Bradley, who has been described as a player who ‘runs like Steven Gerrard‘, was brilliant against Fulham too, and that was the game which showed he is ready to handle the pressure and play at the top level.

Jurgen Klopp has a decision to make ahead of the game against Bournemouth. We think Bradley deserves to start.
