There is now less than a week to go until the January transfer window slams shut, with clubs scouring the market to see if there are any last-minute deals to be done.

A number of teams have been cautious this month in order to stay on the right side of Financial Fair Play, but there have still been some intriguing transfers in recent days.

Kalvin Phillips completed his loan move to West Ham on Friday after a difficult last 18 months at Manchester City that has seen him start just two league games under Pep Guardiola.

Meanwhile, there is still some uncertainty over the future of a number of high-profile players including Karim Benzema and Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe.

Here, Mail Sport takes a look at the latest transfer gossip on Saturday morning.
