This is despite police and paramedics being called to Northumberland Park on the outskirts of the stadium at 6am this morning.
A man was found dead with a number of stab injuries, the Metropolitan Police said.
CPR was administered but despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe they know who he is and are working to inform his next of kin. There have been no arrests at this stage.
Supporters have been advised to allow for extra travel time, with the whole of Northumberland Park Road and the north end of Worcester Avenue closed.
