Mikel Arteta says impressive Arsenal star is a magician
Mikel Arteta has showered praise on Arsenal star following the Gunners’ 2-0 win over Wolves on Saturday

Trossard, who has emerged as a key figure for Arsenal this season, showcased his prowess once again by finding the back of the net against Wolves, further solidifying his position as the club’s second-leading goal scorer with 14 goals across all competitions.
Arteta lauded Trossard’s versatility and calmness in front of goal, dubbing him a “little magician” for his ability to make an impact across various positions on the field.
Speaking after the match, Arteta expressed his admiration for Trossard, stating, “Trossard, great player. He’s a little magician. He can score on any surface and he’s a big threat; so composed, so cool, he can play in different positions.”

“I feel like he is a player you can rely on,” Walcott remarked. “He can make the difference. He doesn’t want to be a go-to, he wants to be that starting man but he gets big goals in big moments, and he’s well-trusted in that environment. For me, he’s been fantastic.”
Furthermore, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp drew comparisons between Trossard’s impact at Arsenal and the fortunes of Mykhaylo Mudryk at Chelsea. Despite missing out on Mudryk to Chelsea, who made a significant investment in the winger, Arsenal’s decision to sign Trossard has proven fruitful.
“Trossard has been a great signing,” Redknapp affirmed. “He comes up with vital goals, never complains, if he comes off the bench he makes an impact. It just shows you when you’re looking to add players, you’ve got to bring them in at the right time and he’s certainly been that player. Such an important goal.”
With Trossard’s consistent contributions on the field, Arsenal continues to reap the rewards of their investment, as they aim to maintain their momentum in the ongoing campaign.
