After his incident at Misano, WorldSBK rider Nicolo Bulega has declared that “no serious damage” has happened.
Prior to colliding with Marc Marquez and falling out of the Lenovo Race of Champions during World Ducati Week, Bulega was in third place.
Marquez quickly tucked the front-end of his Panigale V4 R, forcing Bulega wide.
Never distant from controversy, Marc Marquez continued to ride his bike in the style of Gresini and finished third behind Andrea Iannone and Francesco Bagnaia.
“Hello everyone, seeing the many messages you have sent me, I’m happy to inform you that after various checks I have not found any serious damage to my shoulder, only a contusion to the clavier acromion joint, so I will have to do therapy and rehabilitation,” Bulega said regarding his condition following the incident.
“I should make it clear, though, that I did not make any statements regarding the incident, so I cannot relate to anything I read online.
“Thanks for the love, now head to Portimao and go Ducati!”
Bulega has till the Portuguese World Superbikes round in less than two weeks to get back on a bike.
He is second in the WSBK standings, 64 points behind Toprak Razgatlioglu.
