Ahead of their quarterfinal game against Brazil on Tuesday, USA Basketball posted the official team photo of the 2024 United States Olympic men’s basketball team on X.
The photo features all 12 members of the squad, including Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, who is front and center holding a basketball:
James is flanked by Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and Phoenix Suns sharpshooter Devin Booker on either side with Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday and Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton on the ends.
From left to right, the back row is comprised of Celtics guard Derrick White and forward Jayson Tatum, Suns forward Kevin Durant, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, Lakers big man Anthony Davis, Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards.
Despite being the NBA’s oldest player at 39 years of age, James has arguably been Team USA’s best player in Paris.
LeBron is third on the team in scoring with 14.3 points per game, plus he leads the U.S. with 7.3 assists per game and is third on the team in rebounds per game as well with 6.7.
The deep and talented American squad is also getting big-time production from Edwards and Durant, who are averaging 16.7 and 16.0 points per contest, respectively.
Team USA went a perfect 3-0 in group play with wins over Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico on the heels of going 5-0 in exhibition games prior to the Olympics.
The U.S. is a heavy favorite to defeat Brazil in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, and if it manages to do so, three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokić and Serbia will be awaiting a rematch in the semifinals.
