Top flight club expected to re-open talks to sign £50m Arsenal player very soon

Arsenal are busy bringing in new players at the moment but they could now end up back in talks to sell one of last season’s fringe players.

The Gunners have already landed a deal to bring Riccardo Calafiori in and are now pushing on with their bid to sign Spanish midfielder, Mikel Merino.

On the reverse of that, the Gunners have sold Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham and there remains interest in defender, Jakub Kiwior.

It was well reported before the summer that Arsenal would seek to sell a few players to bring funds in and appease potential PSR problems.

And now, they could get more income, with Marseille apparently preparing a brand new bid for their striker, Eddie Nketiah.

Nketiah to Marseille has been on and off for the last few weeks, with the French club looking at overhauling their squad. And according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, a new bid from Marseille is now expected at Arsenal.
