JUST IN: Cremonese planning a Maldini-style proposal for Nasti….see more

Cremonese are planning to use a familiar formula to sign Marco Nasti from AC Milan this summer which would involve paying a very small transfer fee.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Serie B side have identified Nasti as a forward that can help take them back to Serie A next season but they would struggle to pay the sort of transfer fee that Milan would demand for the 20-year-old.

Instead, they are going to try and do a deal that is reminiscent of the way that Milan sold Marco Brescianini to Frosinone and Daniel Maldini to Empoli.

That would mean that Cremonese pay almost nothing for the transfer of Nasti (Brescianini cost €200,000 and Maldini was free), but they will be obliged to give Milan a hefty percentage of any transfer fee they get for him in the future.

Cremonese are one of many Serie B clubs that have expressed interest in signing Nasti but the client of Beppe Riso has got an agreement in place with the Grigiorossi for a four-year contract.

Milan would be due 50% of any money Cremonese make on him in the future. Brescianini is actually still at Frosinone but his value has gone up a lot since Milan sold him and any deal for him now would likely see Milan receive €5-8m.
