Multiple outlets in Italy are now reporting that Juventus have reached a formal agreement with Milan for the transfer of centre-back Pierre Kalulu after the Old Lady submitted their opening bid earlier on Monday.

Done deal: Juventus and Milan agree to terms of Kalulu transfer

The two clubs have come to an agreement over a season-long loan deal with an option to buy later in the season.

Juventus are set to pay Milan a fee of €3.5 to bring Kalulu on board for the season, and will then invest a further €14m plus €3m in bonuses if the move is made permanent. If the loan does turn into a permanent transfer, then Milan will also retain a 10% sell-on clause, according to Sky Sport Italia.

While Juventus and Milan have come to an agreement on their end, the Old Lady still need to reach an agreement on personal terms with the player himself.

Bianconeri representatives have already been in touch with the Frenchman via a video call to discuss the move.

Sky suggest that Kalulu had also informed Milan that he wanted to leave the club, prior to Juventus’s offer earlier today.

A 2021-22 Scudetto winner, Kalulu has made 84 Serie A appearances for Milan over a four-year spell.
