Paris Saint-Germain could be looking to bolster its midfield before the summer transfer window closes. The capital club loaned Cher Ndour to Beşiktaş, and Gabriel Moscardo appears to be on his way to Stade de Reims.
As a result, the capital club could add one more midfielder to have the depth needed to compete in three competitions this 2024-25 season. With clubs having a few more days to improve their team, the reigning Ligue 1 champions have their eyes on a Palmeiras star.
Antena 2 Deportes reports that PSG have made a €20 million offer to Palmeiras for 24-year-old Colombian midfielder Richard Rios. Over the summer, Rios was part of the Colombia national team that reached the 2024 Copa América final but lost to Argentina.
Since that tournament, Rios has been linked to various top European clubs like AC Milan and Manchester United. However, the Parisians could add another South American player this summer after Willian Pacho joined the French giants from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Now it seems that Rios could be on his way to Paris. The midfielder joined Palmeiras in 2023 and has made 88 total appearances for the Brazilian side while scoring five goals and registering two assists.
