Milan consider star forward Rafael Leao to be unsellable, following interest from LaLiga giants Barcelona, who seem to be shopping in the Serie A market for a new winger this summer.
Milan unlikely to sell Leao to Barcelona
Reports from Mundo Deportivo on Tuesday claimed that Barcelona are interested in pursuing a deal for the Portugal star, who comes at a value of around €100m.
It would have been a complicated deal to pursue, as the Blaugrana would need to sell a number of their own current players first, and likely include one or two more in a player-plus-cash deal with Milan.
Unsurprisingly, Milan have no intention of parting ways with Milan this summer, particularly at this stage of the transfer window, with just less than a fortnight to go until deadline day.
Gianluca Di Marzio adds that Leao is practically ‘unsellable’ for Milan.
Barcelona could still add a current Serie A representative to their attacking ranks though, as a cut price deal for Italy international Federico Chiesa remains on the cards. Juventus are prepared to sell the former Fiorentina winger for a price around €15m this summer.
