There is just over one week left until the end of the summer transfer window and Yacine Adli is yet to find a new club, but a report has suggested things are moving.
According to Calciomercato.com, Adli is experiencing a ‘painful situation’ because he has the red and black colours tattooed on his heart and if it were up to him he would stay and fight for a spot, but he risks not having the chance to because of the squad list regulations.
The discussions over the last few days have led to an agreement between all the parties that will see Adli’s agents work in harmony to find the best solution for him to leave Milan and go somewhere he can play more regularly.
In recent weeks, several intermediaries have knocked on Milan’s door to ask about Adli’s situation such as Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Leicester in the Premier League, but as of yet they have not gone any further.
The only concrete offer, however, came from the Saudi club Al-Shabab and Adli is not open to the idea of moving there because he wants to stay in one of the top European leagues. In the next few hours, Adli’s agent will try to explore some possibilities in France and Spain to try please his client.
The situation is fluid and constantly evolving, Yacine knows he is not part of Fonseca’s project and is now open to leaving. With just one condition: to look for a team that guarantees him competitiveness at a European level.
