AC Milan are expected to hold talks with the mother-agent of Adrien Rabiot over the potential of signing him on a free transfer, a report claims.
As we recently reported via our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Milan have made another contract offer to Rabiot, who remains without a team after saying goodbye to Juventus at the beginning of the summer.
The reason that he is yet to find a new team is that Frenchman’s entourage want him to earn €7m net per season, which is more or less what he was getting from the Bianconeri before he decided to leave. Milan are willing to pay less, but Geoffrey Moncada believes a meeting point can be found.
According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, after welcoming Tammy Abraham Milan are still working on adding another midfielder. Rabiot’s name is back in fashion and the directors are trying for the former PSG man, who would of course be available on a free.
Not only that, but a meeting is planned with Veronique, the Frenchman’s mother and agent. However, the possible acceleration for Rabiot is linked to the exit of Ismael Bennacer. Atletico Madrid are negotiating for the former Empoli player, but at the moment nothing seems imminent on that front.
