RedBird advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to miss Milan’s upcoming Serie A clash against Venezia on Saturday evening, the second game in a row that has happened, but the Swede is expected to return over the weekend and be in San Siro against Liverpool.

Ibrahimovic absent for Milan again

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ibrahimovic is away on a two-week long professional course, but will return to Milan on Sunday.

Though Ibra will not be in the stands, there will be plenty of senior Rossoneri officials in attendance. RedBird CEO Gerry Cardinale is expected to be there after spending the week in the UK for a business summit. He is expected to meet club President Paolo Scaroni in the stands.

Ibrahimovic, meanwhile, is expected to return to the stadium for Wednesday night’s Champions League clash against Arne Slot’s Liverpool.

The Rossoneri striker-turned-executive also had to skip Milan’s 2-2 draw with Lazio prior to the international break due to a pre-existing personal commitment
