Antonio D’Ottavio is no longer the sporting director of AC Milan. A dismissal that had been in the air for days but was finalised yesterday; he had been with the club since 2016.
The decision, as reported in recent hours, came due to tensions and disagreements with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jovan Kirovski regarding Milan Futuro.
As reported today by Corriere della Sera, he was not a traditional sporting director and, in recent times, he wasn’t even going to Milanello anymore.
For his replacement, an internal solution is being considered with two names in the running: Dario Aduasio and Albero Carraro, alongside Daniele Massaro.
