MN: Conceicao calls out media lies before…see more

Before this afternoon’s press conference, AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao took a moment to respond to some ‘lies’ from the media.

Everything around Milan is quite negative at the moment. Because of this, everyone seems a little on edge, and this is quite concerning.

From a mercato standpoint, the Rossoneri are seemingly going to overhaul several areas, and this also extends to the management and head coach. Considering reports suggest that ‘no one is safe’ it leads to a more edgy feel too.

The last thing that anyone wants, or more importantly needs, right now is the squad questioning their safety and future whilst there are games still to play. This situation will only boil over, and it already may be

As Pianeta Milan reports (via Francesco Nasato on X), Conceicao took the time before his press conference to dispel some recent rumours, doing so before any broadcast or actual questions were asked to the head coach, stating that ‘lies’ about the club are ‘bad’.

Later in the press conference, he also referenced reports about his own future and how he is already on the verge of leaving. Despite this being said in a jokey manner, it is not the first time that he has called out media personnel during a press conference.

The Portuguese did clarify that he has a ‘good relationship with all of his players’, but his reaction likely will not be appreciated by the Diavolo’s higher-ups.
