The teams will go head-to-head on EA SPORTS FC™ 25 to fight for the title of Italian Champion of eSerie A Goleador 2025, the official esports tournament of Lega Serie A.
Regular Season will take place in Milan from 18 February to 2 April, while the Playoffs and Final Eight are scheduled for 1 and 2 May, location still to be confirmed.
In total, 16 teams will compete in the tournament. Roma have been drawn into Group C along with Venezia, Como and Genoa, and will play their Regular Season matches on 4 March and 1 April.
Luca Guarino, also known as Luconegua, is AS Roma Esport’s pro player and the team will be supported by the agency Exeed in managing its players. Hailing from Monteverde in Rome and a lifelong Giallorossi fan, Luconegua secured third place in the FIFAe Club World Cup 2022. He also came third in last season’s eSerie A with Torino FC eSports and qualified in the Top 16 of the eChampions League 2024.
The team’s official coach will be Francesco Micelli ( @coach_micelli), who has been Luconegua’s coach since September 2023. Together, the pair competed in eSerie A 2023-24 for Torino, securing second place in the group stages and third place in the knockouts, which allowed them to qualify for UEFA eChampions League. After having qualified for the final stages of the eChampions League with a second-place group stage finish, they managed to win the knockouts by beating Borussia Dortmund. Their journey unfortunately came to an end in the round of 16 when they were defeated by RB Leipzig.
