MN: Joao Felix slammed AGAIN…see more

Joao Felix is already coming under increasing fire for his performances at AC Milan.

The Rossoneri are full-on in crisis mode. Any optimism that the appointment of Sergio Conceicao entailed has dissipated after Milan crashed out of the Champions League against Feyenoord midweek.

Things took a turn for the worse on Saturday when a lacklustre Milan were defeated 2-1 by Torino in a game that saw Christian Pulisic miss a crucial penalty.

The usually reliable Mike Maignan was guilty of an embarrassing blunder as he rifled the ball against his own defender, Malick Thiaw, to give Torino a 1-0 lead

Tijjani Reijnders, one the few Milan players who will finish this season with credit in the bank, equalised in the second half but a swift response from the hosts condemned the Rossoneri to their sixth Serie A defeat of the campaign.

January signing Joao Felix was once again fairly anonymous for Milan. Since scoring on his debut in a Coppa Italia clash with Roma, the Chelsea loanee has not managed to directly contribute to a goal.

He already came under fire for his lack of impact against Feyenoord and his showing against Torino has only increased fears that this is still the same old Felix who mostly flatters to deceive despite his obvious talent.

Writing on social media, Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani absolutely tore into the Portuguese and AC Milan at large for the shocking display against Torino.

“At Milan, everything is going wrong, but Joao Felix is as beautiful as he is useless,” Ravezzani began. “Thiaw is no better than [Fikayo] Tomori, taking [Rafael] Leao away unless he is injured is senseless.

“In short, Conceicao is causing more harm than good. And the directors failed in choosing the second coach of the season.”
