Sergio Conceicao, the man at the helm of AC Milan, has voiced his concerns over the negative vibe engulfing his club. He believes that the pervasive atmosphere has been adversely affecting his players, leading to a series of disappointing results. In a season that has been largely forgettable for the Rossoneri, the recent match against Lazio added another layer to their misery.

In a game that saw Milan perform dismally in the first half, the team was later handicapped by a reduction to ten players in the second half. Despite the setback, they managed to display resilience as Samuel Chukwueze netted an equalizing goal. However, the drama was far from over. A penalty granted to Lazio in the added time saw Pedro score a late goal in the 98th minute, which secured a victory for his team, leaving Milan empty-handed.

The aftermath of the match saw Milan slide further down to the ninth position in the league table, a development that adds to the growing concerns surrounding the club. Post the match, Conceicao shared his perspective on the club’s current predicament in a conversation with DAZN, as reported by MilanNews.

When asked about his current state of mind and what he could offer to uplift his demoralized team, Conceicao admitted the situation was far from ideal. He acknowledged that his players were indeed affected by the ongoing issues surrounding the club. Nonetheless, he emphasized that the only way forward was to keep working diligently, take immense pride in the club’s colors, and strive each day to turn the tide.

He further mentioned incidents during matches that end up being detrimental to Milan and advantageous for the opposition. However, he steered clear of attributing the club’s poor run to bad luck.
