Report: Dialogue between Milan and fans leads to ticket sale change ahead

In the last few hours, there has been a long dialogue between AC Milan fans and the club regarding the methods of selling tickets for the Coppa Italia derby on April 2.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the first official communication put out by the club made it clear there was no possibility of season ticket holders being able to select their own seat, and only the option of being able to take four tickets at the time of purchase.

The idea of signing up for a season ticket and then not having the guarantee of purchasing the same seat for Coppa Italia games – with the risk of seeing it taken by others who were quicker in the purchase phase – understandably did not go down well.

The concerns were received by the club, which blocked the sale of tickets originally scheduled for today at 12:00 CET and seem to have taken the issue on board. This is all due to the fact that technical time is needed to adjust the operating systems to the new sales provisions.

It is expected that at some point this afternoon Milan will officially communicate the new instructions for purchasing derby tickets. Positive dialogue on the ticket front is a positive step,
