Sergio Conceicao looks set to make some changes to the starting XI for tomorrow’s game against Como, including bringing Rafael Leao back from start.
The Portuguese winger started on the bench in Milan’s 3-2 win against Lecce last weekend. He came off the bench for the second half and had a hand in two of the goals, helping the Rossoneri turn the game around from 2-0 down.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the No.10 should thus play from start against Como tomorrow, being one of three changes in total. Warren Bondo should make way for Joao Felix, with Tijjani Reijnders moving to the midfield, and Mike Maignan will also be back from suspension.
Maignan; Walker, Gabbia, Thiaw, Hernandez; Musah, Reijnders; Pulisic, Joao Felix, Leao; Gimenez.
MilanNews.it, on the other hand, reports that Conceicao will field a ‘proper’ midfield tandem of Youssouf Fofana and Bondo. In that case, Reijnders would start as the No.10 and Joao Felix would remain on the bench.
Predicted Milan XI per MN (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Walker, Gabbia, Thiaw, Hernandez; Bondo, Fofana; Pulisic, Reijnders, Leao; Gimenez.
The situation should be clearer after the press conference later today (13:30) and the training session. That being said, the newspapers have had a hard time predicting the XI since Conceicao arrived, so we will have to wait and see.
