Gbs: Gianluigi Donnarumma to join AC Milan’s bitter rivals…see more

Gianluigi Donnarumma is open to a move to former rivals Inter, as the ex-AC Milan keeper’s contract with PSG is set to expire in the next 18 months.

This would be a stunning move for Donnarumma, who left the Rossoneri for free in 2021 after his contract at his boyhood club expired. The Italian keeper’s camp is looking to quash the rumours, as his agent Enzo Raiola told L’Équipe that PSG is the only club where Donnarumma wants to sign.

Les Parisiens have been linked with a move for Lille’s Lucas Chevalier. It is believed the young keeper will only consider a club where he is to be first-choice. Corriere della Serra have reported Donnarumma would be open to a move to Inter in response to those rumours. The Italian outlet has suggested Donnarumma would consider a move to the San Siro, where he would be reunited with Gianluca Spinelli, the coach who brought him through at AC Milan.

Donnarumma made 251 appearances for the Rossoneri. Making his debut at the age 0f 16 years and 242 days, he was the third-youngest goalkeeper to start a match in the history of Italian football.

The 26-year-old keeper will feature in the second leg of Italy’s UEFA Nations League quarter final tie against Germany on Sunday. The Azzuri face a 2-1 deficit as they travel to Signal Iduna Park.
