Report: Lakers Give LeBron James Update Amid 3-Game Losing Streak

After suffering a left groin strain against the Boston Celtics on March 8, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was forced to miss seven games.

He returned on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls and played again on Monday against the Orlando Magic, both losses.

On Wednesday, LeBron and the Lakers will look to end their three-game drought, facing Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers in the second game of a four-game road trip.

The Lakers were about as healthy as they have been this season in their previous game and it appears they will be relatively healthy once again against the Pacers.

On Tuesday, Los Angeles revealed its latest injury report, which looked pretty clean, once again, compared to recent weeks. LeBron has been listed as probable against the Pacers, still recovering from his groin issue.

Forward Rui Hachimura is also listed as probable with left patellar tendinopathy. And Bronny James, the son of LeBron, remains with the G League’s South Bay Lakers, coming off a career-high 39 points on Monday.

The Pacers may also have most of their guys available against LA, with only Isaiah Jackson ruled out (Achilles tear).

LeBron didn’t have his best performance in his return from injury against Chicago, recording 17 points and five turnovers in a 31-point loss. He looked more like himself against Orlando, recording 24 points, six rebounds and seven assists.

The Lakers will take on the Pacers on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Los Angeles took the first game against Indiana on Feb. 8, 124-117.
