News broke on the day of the game that there is a last-minute absentee: Milan have confirmed that Ruben Loftus-Cheek has undergone surgery to fix a problem with his appendix. He joins the injured Emerson Royal and the suspended Yunus Musah as the players missing out.

Conceicao has named a back four of Kyle Walker, Matteo Gabbia, Strahinja Pavlovic and Theo Hernandez. Warren Bondo and Youssouf Fofana are the two central midfielders in the double pivot.

In attack, Christian Pulisic will play on the right wing, with Tijjani Reijnders as the attacking midfielder and Joao Felix on the left. Tammy Abraham will lead the line, meaning Santiago Gimenez and Rafael Leao start on the bench.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Walker, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez; Bondo, Fofana; Pulisic, Reijnders, Joao Felix; Abraham

Bench: Sportiello, Torriani, Tomori, Thiaw, Florenzi, Terracciano, Jimenez, Terracciano, Chukwueze, Sottil, Leao, Gimenez, Jovic.

Official Napoli XI (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Buongiorno, Olivera; Gilmour, Lobotka, Anguissa; Politano, Lukaku, Neres.
