Benatia, formerly of Juventus, is in the stands in San Siro to watch the Coppa Italia semi-final, but also to discuss a potential transfer for Luis Henrique, who is wanted by Inter according to reports from Sky Sport Italia.
Inter’s upcoming Champions League opponents Bayern Munich are also among the interested parties.
According to Wednesday’s reports, Marseille are seeking a fee in the region of €30m-€35m to sell Henrique during the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old winde man has seven goals and five assists to his name in Ligue 1 so far this season, as well as two goals and two assists from two outings in the Coupe de France.
