Sport news: Inter Milan President Ice Cold Regarding Paratici To AC Milan Sporting Director Rumours None Of My Business”

Inter Milan president Beppe Marotta delivered his verdict on growing rumors linking Fabio Paratici with a move to AC Milan.

Speaking to Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews, Marotta offered his view of the situation and commented on Inter’s treble dream.

Three points clear of second-placed Napoli, Simone Inzaghi’s men are on course to defend their Serie A title.

However, it’s only the first part of a more complex equation.

Indeed, they must also navigate a mouth-watering Coppa Italia semi-final tie against arch-rivals AC Milan.

Finally, the Nerazzurri will lock horns with runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Therefore, the path to the treble is long and treacherous, with Beppe Marotta unwilling to give any predictions.

“I don’t talk about the Treble,” he said. “The primary goal was to be in contention for all these trophies at this stage.

“Today marks the first test, with the second leg deciding the finalist. We’re happy to be key players in this moment.

Marotta’s former associate, Fabio Paratici, is reportedly one step away from joining the Rossoneri.

The two worked together at Juventus before Marotta swapped Turin for the San Siro in 2018.

Asked whether it’d bother him to face Paratici as an opponent, the 68-year-old replied: “None at all.

“I don’t know what Milan will do, and those situations don’t concern me. They will decide what’s best for them.”

Meanwhile, Marotta responded to Beppe Sala’s recent comment on Inter.

Indeed, the Milan mayor told the Nerazzurri to focus on winning the Scudetto instead of pursing a deal for the new stadium.

“Easy answer – my skepticism was not about the project itself but about the gap between our clubs and the rest of Europe.

“Only two new stadiums out of 150 have been built in Italy. Minister Abodi is about to appoint a special commissioner for stadiums.

“I didn’t mean to upset the mayor with this discussion, which is full of complexities.

“And I’ll tell the mayor that we don’t just want to win the Scudetto but also the Coppa Italia.”

Beppe Marotta Reiterates Inter Milan Ambition to Win Every Competition

“I would like to pursue all paths. The club’s history tells us that we must be protagonists

I wouldn’t exclude one competition in favor of another.

“Today, I thank the technical staff because this achievement is the result of a strong work culture and a sense of belonging – important values in today’s football.

“Everyone involved is assessing how to structure the squad, balancing Financial Fair Play and a busy schedule.

“Football today is played at a higher intensity, with high-speed duels and a significant number of muscle injuries.

“The human body cannot endure so many matches.

“Therefore, clubs and federations must use common sense to create a more balanced calendar.

“Football today is much faster, and for top clubs, the number of matches is extremely high.

With international commitments as well, the workload becomes even more demanding. Larger squads are necessary.”
