Gbs: Milan and Roma to resolve Abraham-Saelemaekers issue…see more

A new idea has potentially emerged that might solve the issue regarding the loans of Tammy Abraham and Alexis Saelemaekers, a report claims.

The new sporting director of Milan will have a lot of work to do once he takes over. There are many issues to discuss, such as Abraham’s future at the club. In this final part of the season, the English striker is proving to be very useful with goals and assists.

If the Englishman were to continue to perform in the way he has been, there would be no option but for Milan to think about keeping him. However, the matter is easier said than done, also because the discussions with Roma will surely also extend to Saelemaekers.

Regarding this connection, Il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) wrote this morning that both players ‘want to stay where they are’. Milan are asking €25-30m for the winger, Roma a little less for the striker, so there is the possibility of striking a deal.

However, a new idea has emerged: a renewal of the loan deals, to postpone the economic problem to 12 months time cannot be ruled out. This will obviously be discussed at the end of the season, as soon as Milan have officially appointed a new sporting director.
